Auslan is the sign language used by the Australian Deaf and non-vocal communities. To arrange for an Auslan interpreter for people with hearing impairment, please contact:
Deaf Society Interpreting Service
The Deaf Society Interpreting Service provides interpreters for a range of settings, including employment in Sydney and regional New South Wales.
Community Relations Commission
The Community Relations Commission provides a service which is 24 hours a day 7 days a week. These services may be obtained from anywhere in the State by telephoning 1300 651 500. Fees apply. They have offices in Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong.
