What is the role of the Workforce Planning, Development & Equity unit?

The Workforce Planning, Development and Equity unit is part of the Public Sector Workforce Office of the New South Wales Department of Premier and Cabinet.

One of our roles is to assist Public Sector organisations to achieve equal employment opportunity for Indigenous people, women, people with a disability and people whose first language was not English.

Our goal is to support the Government’s commitment to creating a diverse Public Sector which reflects the representation of Indigenous people, women, people with a disability and people whose first language was not English in the wider community.

The Workforce Planning, Development and Equity unit supports the Deputy Director General, Public Sector Workforce Office in her role as the Director of Equal Opportunity in Public Employment.

What is NOT our role?

Our role does NOT include dealing with Discrimination complaints.
